Dr. Ayesha Khan is a trained Infectious Disease specialist with a Masters in Public Health MPH from Indiana University, United States. At RADS she is responsible for providing technical expertise on maternal and child health issues, policy analysis and advocacy to Government officials and decision makers. Prior to joining RADS worked for 7 years in the Ministry of Health Pakistan in the National HIV program and the Health Policy Unit as the monitoring and evaluation specialist.
Her research interests are using evidence in public health decision making, maternal health behaviors and studying decision making among girls and women in rural communities.
Adnan Khan - MBBS, MS.CKO
Dr. Adnan Khan is a Public Health Researcher with experience with Reproductive Health, Family Planning, HIV and Hepatitis transmission and prevention and Health Systems. He trained at the Indiana University and the Regenstrief Institute. In his work with the Health Ministry in Pakistan, he applied epidemiological and other analysis methodologies to develop evidence base to inform planning and evaluation of HIV and Family Planning programs and helped run its Health Policy Unit. Adnan has also worked closely with the WHO, the UNICEF and the UNAIDS to provide consultancy services in the Middle East and Asia. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the Asian AIDS Data Hub, a core member of the UN Reference Group on HIV and Drug Use and a member of the Technical Review Panel (TRP) of the Global Fund for the Fight Against AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM). He has also been an international public health faculty member at the the Vanderbilt and Indiana Universities in the USA.
Adnan leads the technical teams for research, evaluations (including theory based evaluations, in depth and complex evaluations) and in publications. Recent work includes third party validation of national family planning programs (DFID, Susan T. Buffett Foundation), measurement partner of rural family planning program (HANDS, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation), assessment of an urban program (the Sukh Initiative, Aman, Packard and Gates Foundations), Pakistan Primary Investigator for the PMA2020 (Johns Hopkins University and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation) and Optifood and Cost of Diet components of the National Nutrition Survey (UNICEF, DFID)
Inaam ul Haq
Operations and Research Manager
Inaam ul Haq has more than 8 years of experience in development sector and currently working as an Operations and Research Manager. Prior to this, he was working on different research projects as a Senior Research Analyst. He has master’s degree both in Statistics and Economics. He has experience of research studies on issues relating to education, health and sanitation, nutrition, gender, reproductive health, family planning, population and development, household characteristics, migration and urbanization.
He is actively engaged in quantitative and qualitative studies of various projects. Besides, his responsibilities include; developing proposals, project planning, management, budgeting, designing and implementing monitoring, evaluation and analysis. Before joining RADS, Inaam worked for Oxford Policy Management and Institute of Social Policy as a Monitoring & Evaluation Officer and Research Associate.
Senior Research Analyst
Ms. Khadija Abbas has a Master’s degree in Economics. She has extensive experience in economic and quantitative evaluations, and has led a number of surveys and assessments such as those for DFID, Packard Foundation, Buffett Foundation and other Pakistani NGOs.
Senior M&E Analyst
Shayan obtained his Master’s degree in Project Management from Szabist University in Pakistan. He has five years of experience in the development sector. He is currently working as a Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Analyst. He is responsible for designing the monitoring framework for the field workers and respective core team. His other work requirements include frequent field visits to ensure and validate data quality.
During his previous appointment at Kaghan Memorial Trust (KMT), he was responsible for spearheading the fundraiser to build a school in the Kaghan Valley. Furthermore, he had the opportunity to work with GIZ on a project to evaluate the Capacity Gap between the Public and Private educational institutions of Pakistan. Through his diverse work experience, Shayan has gained a strong hold over project management and execution.
Agha Amir Ali
Agha Amir Ali is a result oriented professional with more than 16 years of successful working experience with international organizations. Have strong and tested experience in multiple Project Management, Grants and Finance Department. The communication, time management and interpersonal skills have evolved over the years and have given him the ability to effectively interface with individuals from all levels.
Annan qualified as an economist with honors from NUST and has garnered experience in research and report writing over the past few years. Shes a welcome addition at RADS as a Research Analyst.
Ms. Kanwal Mahmood is a community development practitioner with a wide ranging experience in both professional and academic development projects. She has a Post graduate degree in Development Studies and an Undergraduate degree in Economics from NUST. Before joining RADS as a Research Analyst, she was employed as a Reporting and Research officer in two successive organizations (UN World Food Programme (WFP) and Tyche & Thoth L.L.P), where she has worked on various BMGF and GIZ funded development projects. Her professional experiences have helped her develop and hone her skills of Research and Analysis and become more resourceful in the professional domain.
Hania Hussain obtained her Bachelors degree in Economics from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) in 2017. With her strengths in econometric, she is actively engaged in planning and conducting quantitative analysis for RADS’ ongoing projects. She is also involved in writing policy briefs and research papers for peer reviewed publications. Her other tasks include proposal writing as well as project planning and management.
Asmita Bano holds a Master’s degree in Sociology and has expertise in quantitative research and statistical analysis.
Ibtisam Sajjad has a masters’ degree in Finance and is working as a Monitoring and Evaluation Associate. He is responsible for the data unit, data management, cleaning, editing, evaluation and interpretation.
Maisam Ali has a bachelor’s degree in sociology and is currently completing his Master’s in Sociology. He is responsible for Quality Assurance and Field Monitoring at RADS.
